I deliberately designed this series to be used with ordinary computer paper to be simple and easy requiring no special art paper or tools. All that is needed to get started are crayons and ordinary computer paper. Print out the outline drawing, tape it to a soft drawing pad or surface if desired or on top of several sheets of paper and start the lesson!

THE ULTIMATE COLORING BOOK tutorials are the “Next Step” process for students who want to develop their skills while learning how to apply my techniques with the use of crayons. While introducing my techniques to many K-12 schools and private art classes, I have learned that many students do not have the basic hand-eye coordination skills to develop style and technique to create fine art.

1. POP ART FLOWER  It is very easy to overlook the importance of this basic line drawing and by first appearances, the Pop Art Flower by design may seem to be easily mastered and insignificant. I designed this tutorial to build and enhance the creative art abilities by strengthening the coordination of the eyes and fine motor-skills of the hand before learning to apply the more advanced skills like layering and gradients. For some students, this should be the first Ultimate Coloring Book step after the completion of the Jeffrey Robert Crayon Art Techniques Dvd and Workbook.
2.  BUTTERFLY  This lesson incorporates layering and gradients. Once mastered, these techniques will help the student in higher thinking, problem solving and the visualization process to prepare the mind for the complexities and skills for fine art.
3.  COLORFUL BUG  This lesson engages the same disciplines as the “Butterfly” tutorial with more emphasis on dexterity and patience.
4. FLYING PARROT  This lesson is more advanced. Enjoy the process of learning to create by applying all of the building blocks of the previously combined lessons.
