Early in my art career, I strived to create realistic images using only a simple box of Crayola Crayons as my art medium. Although it may not matter what one uses to create fine art, the concept of crayon art was an original idea that I mastered and promoted as a new fine art genre. Presently, my interests center in creating a collection of iconic figures and faces. My concept is to combine the sentiment and nostalgia of the “iconic Crayola Crayon” with the essence of the post pop art period in a new and fresh contemporary style of fine art.
